The NCS-MMTI200 steel plate hard spot micro-magnetic NDT trolley system, developed by NCS Testing Technology, has already been put into service at a major domestic steel plant.

Uneven hardness in steel plates leads to unstable strength and reduced load-bearing capacity. Conventional methods are neither fast nor capable of full-coverage hardness inspection. To solve this problem, our second-generation trolley system provides non‑destructive quantitative evaluation of steel plate surface hardness.

Strong Data Processing & Analysis

Calibrate the reference hardness value before inspection – values beyond a defined range are flagged as excessive hardness.

Inspected areas are imaged on a tablet in real time. Red areas indicate excessive hardness, and a side audible‑visual alarm is triggered.

User‑friendly interface with powerful software – fast analysis of inspection data, images saved for precise location of hard spots.

Offline Inspection Capability

Equipped with an offline inspection module and offline probe for POD testing – flexible inspection of steel plate samples.
