On January 15, 2025, NCS Testing Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as NCS or the Company) held the fifth session of the second Workers' Congress. The meeting was presided over by Comrade Yuan Liangjing, a member of the company’s Party Committee, Vice General Manager, and Chairman of the Trade Union. A total of 68 official representatives attended the meeting, including Academician Wang Haizhou from the Chinese Academy of Engineering, external director Xie Hong, and 16 middle-level cadres from NCS. NCS Party Committee Deputy Secretary and General Manager Comrade Zhang Xiuxin delivered the “2024 General Manager’s Work Report,” comprehensively summarizing the company’s achievements and shortcomings in 2024, analyzing the new situation facing the company’s development, clarifying the guiding principles and goals for 2025, and outlining the key tasks for 2025.
The meeting heard the “2024 Human Resources Work Report,” in which Comrade Yu Wugang, Director of the Human Resources Department, reported on the overall situation of the company’s personnel, the construction of the workforce, and employee welfare and care.
Comrade Yang Dawei, Manager of the Comprehensive Office, delivered the “2024 Safety Production Work Report,” providing a comprehensive report on the company’s overall safety production situation, funding, specific measures, and safety production standardization work in 2024.
Comrade Liu Zheng, Manager of the Operations Quality Department, presented the “2024 Occupational Health Work Report,” detailing the achievements in occupational health, key measures implemented, and continuous optimization efforts in 2024.
NCS Trade Union Vice Chairman and Proposal Working Committee Director Comrade Yang Dawei delivered the “Report on the Acceptance and Implementation of Proposals from the Workers’ Congress,” reporting on the acceptance of proposals from the fourth session of the second Workers’ Congress and the implementation of proposals from the third session of the second Workers’ Congress.
The attending worker representatives divided into five groups to seriously discuss and fully exchange views on the matters reviewed at this meeting, providing valuable opinions and forming resolutions of the Workers’ Congress. 2025 is the final year of the “14th Five-Year Plan” and the planning year for the “15th Five-Year Plan.” Facing the severe and complex internal and external environment, the meeting called on all cadres and employees to adhere to the strong leadership of the company’s Party Committee, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the second and third plenary sessions of the 20th Central Committee, and deeply implement the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference. They were urged to face challenges head-on, grasp strategic initiatives, maintain confidence without slackening, stay focused on goals without wavering, and keep working tirelessly. The goal is to fully advance the leadership in the construction of quality infrastructure in the materials industry and promote the high-quality development of NCS to a new level. The resolution of the meeting was unanimously approved, fully reflecting the principal status and democratic will of the broad masses of workers.
In 2024, employees from various units and positions within the company faced challenges head-on with pioneering spirit and steady determination, overcoming obstacles and completing various annual tasks. A number of outstanding teams and individuals emerged in the fields of technological innovation, spiritual civilization, and digital transformation, and the conference recognized these outstanding achievements.
